Did you know that there is a commonly accepted quote that ‘Money is the Root of all Evil’?

What if you shifted that quote to say ‘The Love of Money is the Root of all Evil’? What shift, if any, do you notice in yourself when you say that out loud? It sorta opens the flood gates to allow money into your life right, because you know you don’t love money, you love the energy that having money brings into your life. And that is powerful to you!
What are some other commonly held beliefs/thoughts you have about money? Good, or bad, write them all down on a piece of paper and then look it over for the next few days and ask yourself how those thoughts are manifesting into your life?

Thoughts like:

“Debt is inevitable”

“Everyone has a few credit cards”

“It takes at least 10 years to pay off student loans”

“Rich people are bad.”

“You have to work harder in order to earn more.”

“Only those born into riches have an easy time with staying rich!”

“Rich & famous people are in the limelight and everyone loves watching them fall. If I get rich & famous then people will want to watch me fall too.”

“Money isn’t everything, it’s the only thing!”

“I have more money in my life than so many others, so I should be grateful for what I do have and not want for more.”

How did reading the above comments make you feel? Did reading any of them bring up strong feelings? Take a look at those feelings with an objective eye. There are no right or wrong answers in life. We are entitled to our feelings entirely. Loving them, accepting them, and forgiving them in order to encorporate their powerful energy/intent into your life is amazing! Try it.

Breathe deeply and use the following statement template to have a dialogue with yourself and your feelings:

“Even though I have this feeling that _______________, I still love and accept myself deeply and completely.

Even though I have this feeling that _______________, I forgive myself and I honour the safety that feeling has brought me to this point.

Even though this feeling of _______________, has served me in this way ____________ in my life, I now release this feeling and choose _____________________ belief instead.

Even though I have had this feeling that _______________, I still love and accept myself deeply and completely and I choose to feel _______________ now.”

Or any version of the above that comes out as you start the dialogue process. Repeating this process over and over again to really breathe deep and get into the love, acceptance, forgiveness, release and setting of new intent is also very powerful.

If you don’t think it could really be that simple, then ask yourself what part of you believes that….and take a dialogue from there.

May you unblock the gates to abundance in your life and share your gifts with the world!
